Community Health Needs
Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC), with input from the community, completed Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA) in 2013 and 2016. NGMC has conducted assessments in the past via Healthy Hall. Nonprofit hospitals are now required by law to complete an assessment, make the results available to the community and develop an implementation plan that the hospital will champion.

Intiatives and Activities
See the 2013 spreadsheet of intiatives and activities Northeast Georgia Medical Center is involved with which addresses many community health needs. Many activities overlap different priorities, and NGMC’s involvement ranges from providing the activity itself to contributing in some way. The spreadsheet is not an exhaustive list, but highlights many of the organization’s efforts to address identified community health needs.
