NGMC Braselton’s Newest Addition Arrives this Fall

Published: Tuesday, April 12, 2016

Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Braselton is proud to share exciting news about the opening of our new Labor and Delivery Unit, due October 2016.

Our newest addition will feature 10 modern labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) rooms – allowing mothers the comfort of staying in the same room throughout their visit – complete with four-inch memory foam mattresses, private bathrooms with hydrotherapy showers and large windows allowing plenty of natural light.

The unit will also have a family waiting area, two cesarean section suites, on-site lactation consultants, a sunlit nursery and a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) featuring spacious and private rooms as well as a separate infant procedure room.
