The Volunteer Chaplain Program involves members of the Clergy Fellowship who desire to share their ministry gifts with patients and residents. Each Volunteer Chaplain serves in the following ways:
- Volunteer Chaplains at the Medical Center Campus may serve daily at a time of their choosing or serve a scheduled one day a month excluding Saturday and Sunday. Volunteer Chaplains come in for about 2 hours to make rounds during the day they serve.
- Volunteer Chaplain at our long-term care facilities, New Horizons Limestone and Lanier Park, serve two to three hours per month with no on-call.
If you are interested in serving as a Volunteer Chaplain, please contact the Community Chaplain Ministries Coordinator at 770-219-5415.
