College Student Volunteers

Northeast Georgia Health System offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for college students based in Atlanta and North Georgia, whether you’re interested in pursuing a career in healthcare or just want to be more involved in your community.

Our student volunteers gain hands-on experience by volunteering to perform non-medical duties in the clinical areas, and they are of great support to the patients, visitors, and staff.

Where Do College Students Volunteer?

We believe that the most successful volunteers are those who are matched with opportunities that best align with their interests and skills. • Emergency Department
  • Inpatient/outpatient rehab
  • Medical research
  • The Window Shops
  • In nursing units such as Mother/Baby, Pediatrics, Med/Surg, and Oncology
  • Hospice
