7th Annual Northeast Georgia Regional STEMI Summit

Published: Tuesday, March 3, 2015

Please join us for the 7th Annual Northeast Georgia Regional STEMI Summit. With over 700 attendees, it is the largest conference of its kind in the state.  EMS personnel, hospital staff, nurses and doctors from across the region come to this meeting to discuss the state of the Northeast Georgia Regional STEMI Program – a collaborative effort between Northeast Georgia Medical Center and EMS in 17 counties across the region to provide fast and efficient treatment to patients suffering severe heart attacks. As part of the Summit, STEMI survivors and their families share their stories and are reunited with their care teams.

This year, we are honored to have Drs. Benjamin Abella and Michael Kontos, two of the nation’s leading experts in the study of sudden cardiac arrest and heart attacks, as keynote speakers.
