Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Braselton recently won the Oglethorpe Award – one of the highest recognitions an organization from five major sectors of business in Georgia or Florida can earn for overall performance excellence. The hospital was the only healthcare organization to win the award in 2026. The Oglethorpe Award is based on the Baldridge framework, a globally recognized standard focused on sustained excellence in leadership, workforce engagement, operations and outcomes.
Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) Braselton recently won the Oglethorpe Award – one of the highest recognitions an organization from five major sectors of business in Georgia or Florida can earn for overall performance excellence. The hospital was the only healthcare organization to win the award in 2026.
“This is an award that each and every member of our team in Braselton has worked extremely hard to earn,” said Angela Gary, chief nursing officer for Northeast Georgia Health System’s southern market. “We are focused first, and foremost, on providing excellent clinical care for our patients. But our people are also working to increase access to care through our recent multi-year campus expansion, find efficiencies to be good stewards of our resources, support each other to grow engagement in our workforce and more.”
