Families across Gainesville and surrounding communities can feel confident knowing their loved ones are receiving care from one of the nation’s best nursing homes. Newsweek has recognized New Horizons Limestone, part of Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS), on its list of “America’s Best Nursing Homes 2026.”

The honor also includes New Horizons Lanier Park, since both facilities share a provider number from the federal government’s Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. The annual ranking highlights facilities nationwide that excel in clinical quality, safety, resident satisfaction, accreditations and peer recommendations.
