Northeast Georgia Health System to Hold News Conference About Fourth Wave of Covid-19

In light of the increased number of COVID-19 patients in Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s (NGMC) hospitals, and positive cases rising across the region, leaders from Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) are inviting media to a news conference scheduled for Monday, Aug. 2. You can see the current data and trends on this page of nghs.com, which is updated daily.

The news conference will be held at 11 a.m. outside of the North Patient Tower at NGMC Gainesville. All media are welcome to park in the gravel lot at the Mobile Medical Unit, accessible through North Entrance 1 after turning off of Downey Boulevard onto Medical Center Way and taking the first right.

A news conference in Spanish will follow promptly at 11:45 a.m. in front of Medical Park 2, 1439 Jesse Jewell Parkway.
