Gainesville Police Department and Safe Kids Northeast Georgia are happy to announce our summer safety event! On Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 11 am to 3 pm we will be providing many different safety stations.
GPD & Safe Kids will be performing car seat checks for parents and caregivers. We will offer to replace car seats as needed. In order for the car seat to be replaced the child must be present. Safe Kids NE GA will also have a bicycle helmet fitting station for those who choose to participate. Georgia DNR will be available to educate parents and children on water safety.
After a brief break due to the pandemic, we are happy to host this child safety event! We look forward to partnering with other local agencies in this effort. More importantly, we look forward to the opportunity to educate our community in these different areas of safety.
