Northeast Georgia Physicians Group (NGPG) Psychiatry is answering the call to a growing need for mental health support in our rural communities. Andrea Landers Huntley, MD, MPH, will now be providing psychiatric care right here in Dawsonville, where she will specialize in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Huntley earned her medical degree from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine. She went on to complete both her Adult Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry residency at the University of Kentucky Department of Psychiatry. She also has a master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

“Children and adolescents should always be able to receive the psychiatric care they need without having to leave their community,” says NGPG President Daniel Tuffy. “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Huntley to the NGPG Psychiatry team in Dawsonville, where her expertise will enable us to provide essential mental health services to our younger patients.”

At NGPG Psychiatry, providers understand that mental and emotional well-being are an integral part of overall wellness. From child and adolescent therapy to adult psychiatry, NGPG Psychiatry offers comprehensive behavioral health and psychiatric services, as well as an integrated network of resources through Northeast Georgia Health System.
