Update about Future Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton at River Place
Very few healthcare teams ever get the chance to build a new campus and culture; it’s a privilege. Our planning team is currently compiling the feedback gathered from community forums and an online survey, along with knowledge gained through focused patient experience teams, and incorporating these ideas and input into the master campus plan for River Place.
Creating the destination for health care
The vision for River Place is to be the sought-after community destination for health resources and services - and a laboratory for new ideas, systems, relationships and technologies. This will give us the chance to further advance innovative clinical and service standards.
Working toward the goal
We plan to break ground on the new Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton in late 2012, with an estimated opening date of early 2015. Construction on a second medical office building, Medical Plaza 2, will also begin in late 2012, with an estimated opening of early 2014.
