The Cancer Center offers inpatient and outpatient medical oncology care. Located on the fifth floor of the Main Campus, the medical oncology unit provides advanced care for cancer patients including inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy and biotherapy, radiation procedures and symptom management.
The staff are Oncology Nursing Society certified and certified in hospice and palliative care. The fifth floor unit also provides inpatient hospice care.
Outpatient medical oncology services include an infusion suite for chemotherapy, biologicals, and hormone therapy services. This service is provided by oncology certified nurses with advanced chemotherapy training.
