NGMC Gainesville is the 653-bed flagship hospital of Northeast Georgia Health System, offering comprehensive healthcare services to the surrounding communities since 1951. As a designated Level I Trauma Center, NGMC Gainesville provides advanced emergency care, specialized surgical services, and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient treatments. The hospital is also home to the Women & Children’s Pavilion, featuring a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

NGMC Braselton is a 188-bed hospital delivering advanced healthcare services to the Greater Braselton community. Modeled after NGMC Gainesville’s programs of excellence, it offers comprehensive care including heart and vascular services, orthopedics, neurosciences, cancer treatment, emergency services, obstetrics, and NICU care. The expansive 119-acre campus also houses Medical Plazas 1 and B, featuring specialty physician offices, outpatient services, and rehabilitation facilities.
NGMC Barrow, located in Winder, GA, has been serving the community since 1951 and became part of Northeast Georgia Health System in 2017. Recognized as Georgia’s Small Hospital of the Year in 2023, NGMC Barrow offers a range of services. The hospital is equipped with 56 beds and staffed by over 200 physicians, providing comprehensive healthcare to Barrow County and surrounding areas.
NGMC Lumpkin, situated in Dahlonega, GA, is a modern 66,000-square-foot facility that commenced operations in April 2024. It offers 24/7 emergency care, inpatient services and a range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, gynecologic and general surgeries. The hospital is equipped with on-site imaging, laboratory and pharmacy services, ensuring comprehensive care for the community.
NGMC Habersham, located in Demorest, officially joined the Northeast Georgia Health System on July 1, 2023. This 53-bed acute care hospital serves residents in Habersham and surrounding counties, offering a range of services including emergency care, imaging, laboratory services, and a skilled nursing facility.
NGPG brings together over 700 talented physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, midwives and other clinical staff at more than 95 locations across north Georgia. As the state’s sixth-largest physician group, we have many practice locations and expert care in more than 40 specialties.
