The Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center Welcomes New Cardiologist

The Heart Center of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) has a new cardiologist. Laura Divoky, MD, joined the practice today and is accepting patients at the Gainesville and Buford locations.

“I look forward to joining this elite group of physicians in providing first-class heart care to people in Northeast Georgia,” said Dr. Divoky. “From disease prevention to advanced treatment procedures, The Heart Center of NGMC offers patients cutting-edge care, close to home,” said Dr. Divoky.

Dr. Divoky received her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C. Dr. Divoky has a master’s of public health degree from Northeast Ohio University, and is board-certified in Internal Medicine.
