Previously, Chris served as Associate Vice President of Development at his alma mater, University of South Florida’s (USF) Foundation. In this role, Chris managed the major gifts development programs, leading a team of 22 staff. Prior to his position at USF, Chris served as Director of Development and Major Gifts for the Tampa General Hospital Foundation, where he revamped the hospital’s employee campaign and led successful fundraising initiatives for the hospital’s palliative care and transplant programs. Chris also worked in development for the University of Tennessee Medical Center and UT Graduate School of Medicine; and the Helen Ross McNabb Center, a regional mental health services provider in East Tennessee. Chris started his impressive fundraising career with the American Heart Association, serving as the Regional Director for the North Georgia team.

Chris and his wife Molly, a native of northern Atlanta, have two teenage children and they are all looking forward to living in this region. “Molly and I are very excited to become part of this generous community, and NGHS family – a nationally respected and awarded organization. I am so impressed by the core values and NGHS mission of improving health in all that we do,” says Bray. “I feel blessed to have the opportunity to continue the great work Nancy Colston started in 1998. The success that she, her team and volunteers have seen over the years has truly set the stage for growth. A solid foundation has been lain for continued evolution, community engagement, and of course, opportunities to improve patient experience and care. After all, that is what we are here for – improving the health of the patients and families of our community.”

Welcome Chris, we are thrilled to have you here!
