Recently, The James H. Downey Society committee hosted their annual event welcoming new physicians to our medical community. This year we were lucky to have Dr. Betsy Grunch and her husband Ray host the special event at their beautiful home. Although rain threatened to dampen the evening, clear weather prevailed and an extraordinary lake view provided the perfect backdrop for a fabulous evening. Beyond welcoming all of our new physicians, all were focused on The Medical Center Foundation’s recently approved funding initiatives.
We appreciate the work of co-chairs Dr. Mohak Dave and Dr. Ricky LoCicero, along with their committee and others such as Dr. Frank Lake, who continually work to educate their peers about the work of the Foundation. This educational event is a wonderful opportunity for physicians and their spouses learn about philanthropy’s impact.
