About The Rehabilitation Institute in Cleveland

The Rehabilitation Institute in Cleveland provides physical therapy to patients who have pain or dysfunction due to an accident or injury, surgery, stroke, arthritis or other physical illness.  Licensed physical therapists provide musculoskeletal care for patients of all ages.  They typically see patients with:

  • Sprains and strains
  • Neck and lower back pain
  • Sports injuries
  • Difficulty walking
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Elbow, wrist and hand pain
  • Balance disorders
  • Tendonitis and bursitis


The practice accepts most commercial insurances as well as Medicare, Medicaid and worker’s compensation.  Staff includes Pam Walcott, PT, and Paige Tatum, PTA.

Walcott is a licensed physical therapist and the clinic coordinator at The Rehabilitation Institute in Cleveland.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from Indiana University and has worked as a physical therapist for 32 years, primarily in outpatient orthopedic settings.  Walcott has worked at the Cleveland location for 16 years.

Tatum is a licensed physical therapist assistant.  She received her associate’s degree from Athens Area Technical Institute and has assisted physical therapy for 12 years.  Tatum is a native of Cleveland and is excited about utilizing her skills in her hometown.
