The Outpatient Infusion Center Completes Expansion and Relocation

GAINESVILLE, Ga. – The Outpatient Infusion Center at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) recently completed its expansion and relocation.  The center, which offers outpatient chemotherapy treatment and blood transfusions, moved from the fifth floor of NGMC’s South Tower to the first floor, near the Women and Children’s Pavilion.

Along with moving to a more conveniently located area for patients, the Outpatient Infusion Center also added new equipment for treatment and now provides 13 comfortable infusion chairs and one bed. 

The Outpatient Infusion Center offers brightly painted walls, colorful chairs and warmed blankets for greater patient comfort.  Some chairs even offer a window view to the Serenity Garden, located outside the Women and Children’s Pavilion.
