Volunteering
Upcoming Events
Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Health System volunteers and Auxilians are people of all ages who give of themselves to make a difference in the lives of others. Volunteering can help you make new friends and feel connected. You will have the opportunity to use familiar skills and learn new ones through volunteer orientation and training programs, such as First Steps, Hospice and Mended Hearts.
Volunteering also is a great opportunity to explore career options for teenagers, college students or anyone thinking of returning to school or the workplace. Volunteers significantly add to the quality of care by assisting with non-medical needs of patients, family members and visitors. As a volunteer, you give of your time and energy and, most of all, your heart.
For more information or to request a volunteer application and interview, call the Volunteer Services Department at Northeast Georgia Medical Center at 770/535-3394.
