Surgery Pavilion

Surgical Services are provided at both the Main Campus and the Lanier Park Campus of Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  Surgeries performed include endoscopy and laser and conventional surgical procedures.

The Main Campus Surgery Pavilion is located in the east wing of the first floor of the main hospital building.  The Surgery Pavilion houses 16 rooms, including 12 general surgery rooms and four dedicated endoscopy rooms, and 28 private prep-recovery rooms which provide a high level of comfort and privacy.  Surgeries exclusive to the Main Campus Surgery Pavilion are open-heart surgical procedures, including coronary by-pass and valve replacements, and c-sections.

The Lanier Park Campus houses a total of seven rooms, including five general surgery rooms and two endoscopy rooms as well as a 13 private prep-recovery rooms.  Surgeries exclusive to the Lanier Park Campus are bariatric (gastric by-pass) surgery.
