Lifeline
Personal Emergency Response System

Lifeline emergency response system allows people to continue living independently in their homes with the security of knowing they can quickly access help if they need it.  By pressing a lightweight, waterproof alert button worn around the neck or wrist, subscribers can signal Lifeline monitors who determine what kind of help is needed and call for it immediately.

"Volunteers are critical to the success of our Lifeline program," says Dianne Appling, Lifeline coordinator.  "Thanks to their service, our subscribers can choose to stay safely in their homes without having to worry about how they would contact help in an emergency."

For more information about becoming a Lifeline volunteer, call 770/533-8899 or toll free at 1-888-520-3640. Providing Lifeline services in the following counties: Banks, Barrow, Dawson, Forsyth, Habersham, Hall, Jackson, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White.
