The Chest Pain Center

Open 24-hours-a-day, the Chest Pain Center provides rapid diagnosis of chest pain and specialized care for individuals presenting with chest pain in the Emergency Department. The Chest Pain Center is comprised of the Emergency Department, where patients receive immediate assessment and treatment, and a chest pain observation unit. Specially trained staff is able to make a quick, accurate diagnosis, and, if it is a heart attack, Northeast Georgia Medical Center's heart specialists and treatment resources are close at hand.
