Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s North Patient Tower is home to four state-of-the-art surgical suites dedicated exclusively to cardiovascular and open heart surgery and vascular surgery.  Each suite is equipped with advanced technology and resources to care for more than 1,000 patients each year:

• Videoscopes, cameras and high-definition monitors enhance physicians’ view of procedures as they are performed
• Specialized, experienced and dedicated cardiac anesthesiologists
• On-call teams of nurses, techs, cardiologists and surgeons available 24/7
• Heart-Lung machines that make sure your blood continues to flow while your heart is undergoing surgery

These four specialized surgical suites provide patients with ready access to the most advanced care for cardiovascular disease and disorders.
