Prepared Childbirth Class (Tuesday Series)
General Information
A tour of the OB unit is included in this class.
The Prepared Childbirth Class covers what to expect during labor and childbirth, the role of the birth coach, natural relaxation and coping methods and provides information on the types of anesthesia available for women in labor. The Tuesday Series class meets from 7 to 9 p.m. one night a week for five weeks. You should attend all 5 sessions.
Please bring a mat or blanket and two pillows for labor practice and positioning.
The registration fee covers educational materials for you and your partner and all sessions.
