Prepared Childbirth Class (Saturday Series)
General Information
The Prepared Childbirth Class covers what to expect during labor and childbirth, the role of the birth coach, natural relaxation and coping methods and provides information on the types of anesthesia available for women in labor. A tour of the OB unit is included.
The Saturday Series class meets from 9 a.m to 2 p.m. for two consecutive Saturdays. You must attend both sessions.
The registration fee covers educational materials for you and your partner and both sessions. It is usually best to attend in or near your last trimester.
Please bring two pillows and a mat or blanket for labor practice and positioning.
