Update about Future Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton at River Place

Focused, deliberate planning

Northeast Georgia Medical Center received final approval in October 2010 of its Certificate of Need (CON) to build an inpatient hospital at River Place.  We are currently gathering community input and feedback, which we'll integrate into the planning and design phase for this new state-of-the-art hospital, to be called Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton.

Very few healthcare teams ever get the chance to build a new campus and culture; it’s a privilege.

Creating the destination for health care

The vision for River Place is to be the sought-after community destination for health resources and services - and a laboratory for new ideas, systems, relationships and technologies. This will give us the chance to further advance innovative clinical and service standards.

Working toward the goal

The estimated opening date for Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton is early 2015.
