 The Rehabilitation Institute of Northeast Georgia Medical Center provides physical, speech, and occupational therapy to patients who have disabilities due to an accident or injury, stroke, amputation, arthritis or other physical illness.
The Rehab team helps each patient establish goals for more independent living. These goals may include self-feeding, swallowing, improved mobility, self-care, speech, socialization skills and/or memory.
A 25-bed intensive inpatient rehabilitation program to help patients regain independence to attain the goal of returning home.
