The Cancer Center at NGMC to Sponsor a “Cancer Open Mic” Night - 9/10/2008

The Cancer Center at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) is sponsoring a “Cancer Open Mic” night Thursday, September 25, at the Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch. The seminar will be held from 6:30 - 8 p.m.; registration and free sandwich supper are from 6 – 6:30 p.m. This event is open to the public.

During the seminar, a panel of physician specialists will be available to answer any questions community members may have about all types of cancer. Panelists include Chad Copper, MD, general surgeon; Jack Griffeth, MD, radiation oncologist; Timothy Carey, MD, medical oncologist; and Andrew Green, MD, gynecologic oncologist. Angie Caton, OCN, oncology nurse at NGMC, will serve as the moderator.
