Free Weight Loss Seminar

Ready to get serious about weight loss in 2010?  Come to a free seminar sponsored by Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) to learn more about weight loss options, both surgical and non-surgical.

Registered dietitian Mindy Bell, RD/LD, will offer diet and exercise tips, including information about NGMC’s eight-week weight loss program, Living Lighter.  Bariatric surgeons Alex Nguyen, MD, and C. Dan Procter, Sr., MD, will discuss surgical weight loss options including banding, gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy.

There are two chances to attend:  Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010, at the Hall County Library Spout Springs Branch, and Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s Walters Auditorium. The seminars will be held from 6:30 – 8 p.m., with registration and a light sandwich supper beginning at 6 p.m.
