The Medical Center Foundation was formed in 1986 and is led by a board of community volunteers. The Foundation's mission is to cultivate relationships and partnerships to increase community support of Northeast Georgia Medical Center. The Foundation provides sound stewardship of contributions to build a healthier northeast Georgia.

The Foundation provides a vital source of funding for:

• community health improvements,
• capital improvements,
• technological advancements,
• program enhancements.

The Medical Center Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization committed to "mapping away to a healthier community."
