The Joint Commission

Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) is accredited by The Joint Commission, demonstrating compliance with Joint Commission’s national standards for healthcare quality and safety. Through the accreditation process, NGMC earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™. The accreditation includes the Medical Center’s main campus; the Lanier Park campus; Laurelwood, the mental health and substance abuse treatment facility of Northeast Georgia Medical Center; and the Medical Center’s Hospice program.
